Rate Limiting

Request limits are enforced daily based on your workspace pricing subscription:

Rate limits are tracked per API key in Firestore. Each API call decrements from the daily allowance.

When you exceed your daily limit, the API returns a `429 Too Many Requests` response. The limit resets at midnight UTC.

Monthly Message Limit

In addition to daily rate limits, each user has a **monthly message limit** (`messagesLimit` on the user document). This controls the total number of outbound WhatsApp messages allowed per billing cycle.

• Default limit: 1,000 messages
• -1 means unlimited
• Bulk sends are clipped to the remaining monthly allowance
